Tsocks will not install correctly — at Initial Version

I have been able to update my ports but I keep running into the same error while trying to install tsocks.
nick:~ Nick$ sudo port install tsocks Password: ---> Configuring tsocks Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: autoconf failure: shell command " cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_www.macports.org_files_ports_net_tsocks/work/tsocks-1.8.4" && autoconf " returned error 127 Command output: sh: autoconf: command not found
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing. nick:~ Nick$
I think it may have to do with my complier. I have tried instlling tsocks manually but to no avail. Any information you can think of would be very helpful.
