After a successful install of playerstage-player, the following output is displayed when attempting to run the player command:
$ player Registering driver Player v.3.0.0 USAGE: player [options] [<configfile>] Where [options] can be: -h : print this message. -d <level> : debug message level (0 = none, 1 = default, 9 = all). -p <port> : port where Player will listen. Default: 6665 -q : quiet mode: minimizes the console output on startup. -l <logfile> : log player output to the specified file <configfile> : load the the indicated config file The following 81 drivers were compiled into Player: Segmentation fault
This crash has occurred after several fresh installs of macports.

I can reproduce this problem on Snow Leopard x86_64. The maintainer or someone should probably report this problem to the developers of this software.
