Could this be the problem:

On my machinelibiconv.2.dylib is NOT at /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib

but at

/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/usr/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib
