Description
gtkevemon is currently at version "99" (actually revision 99 of the trunk of the upstream repository) which is from 2009-04-15. The port should be updated to the latest stable version, 1.8, released 2010-05-27.

Since "1.8" is smaller than "99" the port's epoch will need to be increased (for example, to 1).

Here's a patch to update the port to 1.8 and also ensure it's UsingTheCorrectCompiler and -arch flags and add a universal variant. This will also fix the current fetch failure in #40728 and I don't see the problem reported in #29354 either. If it looks good to you I can commit it for you.

I should add that the port should then switch from fetching from their Subversion repository to downloading the official 1.8 distfile. This will allow us to verify the downloads using checksums, and mirror it.
