    1 It's really easy to use the [https://trac.macports.org/browser/contrib/cpan2port/cpan2port cpan2port] script to generate portfiles for CPAN ports. I just did this for a bunch for other open perl tickets though, and I'm getting kinda tired of it, so you can do this one
