Checkstyle continues to publish new upstream releases rather frequently; latest is 8.30 (2020-02-29).

Port currently fails to build with Java 8: #51731 . Port also has fallback dependency on kaffe that should be removed in favor of using the Java portgroup.

Is this port worth keeping and updating, or should it be removed? (I personally do not need this port.)

FWIW, livecheck is broken: 

$ port -v livecheck checkstyle
Error: cannot check if checkstyle was updated (regex didn't match)
