groff: error: invalid device `html'

Sorry for the incomplete earlier posting. I followed your suggestion and installed groff after “sudo port clean groff". Attached is the main.log.

The error in the log is:

However, since this was not a clean build attempt, please "sudo port clean groff", then try again, then attach the new main.log so we can see what really happened.

This ticket was filed in reply to comment:ticket:34128:1. In the future please just add a comment to the existing ticket rather than filing a new one.

The first error in the new log seems to be:

I don't know what this means or what to do about it.
