udunits error warning — at Version 1

We have Mac OS 10.8.2 Xcode 4.5 and have udunits and udunits2 installed 

bash-3.2# port installed|grep udu
  udunits @1.12.11_0 (active)
  udunits2 @2.1.24_0 (active)
bash-3.2#

When doing an install of udunits or a program that refers to udunits we get warnings like

Warning: Error determining file type of `/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_science_udunits/udunits/work/destroot/opt/local/bin/udunits': lstat(/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_science_udunits/udunits/work/destroot/opt/local/bin/udunits):no such file or directory
