Many other ports installed like ImageMagick (unknown on your ports search tool) and Xpdf.

    2 i sent this bug to poppler support ([https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74661]) which indicates that it's working very well in their environment, so maybe this problem only occurs in Macports.
    3 pdftocairo command works well except in some cases.
