     3Also, this is not quite the exact same conflict, but the issue of a gdb installation conflicting with various other cross-gdb installations has come up recently on the upstream '''gdb-patches''' mailing lists: ​http://sourceware.org/ml/gdb-patches/2014-07/msg00007.html

     5Hopefully, even if that patch doesn't end up merged by 7.8, they'll have managed to solve some other conflicts with 7.8 as well...
