Hi
Is there any way to manually patch items as two currently are not PCI compliant
openssl there is minor patch from the 23rd April
Apache needs updating to 2.2.27

Yes, you can manually apply patches to ports. Instructions are in the Guide at https://guide.macports.org/#development.patches.applying
However, please file bug reports in our issue tracker so that we can apply the patches to the ports so that all users will benefit.
openssl was updated to 1.0.1h today in r120682. Does that and the previously mentioned apache2 update address all your concerns?
