The boost compile currently seems to be borked (#44701), but bitcoin compiles fine for me against
boost @1.55.0_6+no_single+no_static+python27 (active)
Which version of boost do you have installed?

Still no go for me with @1.55.0_6+no_single+no_static+python27
(same symptom). See my comment here regarding a possible solution.

FYI, mine is a prefix build, which I'm pretty sure is contributing to the problem.

Please check if this is still a problem with bitcoin @0.16.0.

It looks like we have binaries of bitcoin @0.17.1 built for Mac OS X 10.7 and later, so I'm going to call this fixed.
