    2931If you find you're mostly interested in open-source software for the PPC machine you're using, and the Mac software is no longer too relevant to you, it would make sense to look into PPC variants of Unix instead -- there are Debian and I believe Ubuntu versions for PPC that often will be installable.

    31 edit - removed the cxx_stdlib suggestion - not required at present and might cause problems (although actually I have had that in there for a while now and nothing seems to happen :> ). K
