Description
I installed the qt5-docs metaport and ran Qt Assistant. I don't see the docs for core Qt classes. For example, I was trying to find the QTableView documentation and it's not there.

This is only a qt5-docs metaport bug. The package you really need is called qt5-qtdoc. It includes the qtbase module documentation.

This issue seems to persist in Qt 5.9.2... Is there a known workaround for this, ie a package I could install in the meantime to get the missing widget class docs? Thanks

Sorry for the delay on dealing with this.
In about ninety minutes, try upgrading qt5-docs.
Hopefully, the problem is now fixed.
If not please feel free to reopen.
Note: See

tickets.
The qt5-qtbase-docs port is missing :( That's the root of the problem. When that port gets fixed, the qt5-docs port can depend on it and will bring it in. I confirm the problem.
