Hello ,
i am using MacPorts on Leopard Powerpc 10.5.8 and repeatedly run into "
Warning: port definitions are more than two weeks old, consider updating them by running 'port selfupdate'.
altough i several times run succesfully "sudo port selfupdate" and let it process by compter

it takes a very long time (powerbook g4 1,67ghz() to update...
why does it install as root:admin? and why does it fail after finishing? eg, when i try to install something, it again says
