    44pcre2 doesn't seem to maintain ABI compatibility. I think we should keep using pcre in the default variant.

     6Edit: Sorry for the FUD, https://abi-laboratory.pro/tracker/timeline/pcre2/ says there's only a SONAME change of libpcre2-posix while /opt/local/lib/libpcre2-8.0.dylib maintained 100% backward compatibility.
