Description
libquicktime-devel still fetches from CVS. Development seems to have moved to git; please update the port.

Your patch uses a GitHub repository of qmfrederik. I don't think that's the official repo, since there is no mention of that username on the project's web site, and that repo is not up to date with the latest commits on SourceForge at https://sourceforge.net/p/libquicktime/git/ci/master/tree/

That was indeed the most appropriate one I could find. I look forward to someone finding one more appropriate than that.
Either way, I think this port is looking rather dead until someone ponies up a lot of work to make it build with ffmpeg @4
. That ffmpeg
upgrade seems to have been a very significant departure from previous versions.

There's a patch to get started, but it looks like this port is another victim of the move to
ffmpeg 4
, as it won't build now. Log attached.
