    33using clang5 or gcc7 seems to often get around it.

     5I don't understand it as yet, though. There was a change in clang's behaviour to make redefining the asm tag an error. It could be due to that, although the error message is not matching up with what was in the PR (I haven't gone into the clang source code to see if that changed since the original addition tho).
