    1 this ticket is very old, the latest version of {P{py27-scipy}}} is 1.23.1 ; and I think quite a few changes to compilers have happened in the meantime. From the last comment that Ken made it seems likely that there was something wrong with your system.
    2 If you're still interested, please try installing the latest version; if you still have problems please open a new ticket.
