    1 A number of other ports have similar problems when prebuilt ports from Xcode 10 are mixed with Xcode 11.  Ports that create perl extensions that link with libperl fail similarly in the mixed environment.  Rebuilding say perl5.28 under Xcode 11 allows such ports to build without problems.  The python ports mentioned above are another such case.
