Ticket #59832, comment 23
initial v1 6 6 > Presently we build libgcc7 using the default (new) ABI, but force all the builds to the old abi by building with an enabled macro {{{_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI=0}}}. That is most likely the issue here. See <https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/libstdc++/manual/using_dual_abi.html>. 7 7 8 Forgive me for the noise... If needed, here is the blog post covering `_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI` from Red Hat: [ GCC 5 in Fedora](https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2015/02/10/gcc-5-in-fedora-2/). Also see [Dual ABI](https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/libstdc++/manual/using_dual_abi.html)in the GCC docs.8 Forgive me for the noise...
