    1 That must mean you have some residual of a non-MacPorts version of Quartz still installed that is interfering.
     1That must mean you have some residual of a non-MacPorts version of XQuartz still installed that is interfering. You need to make sure you have completely removed it.

     3Also, maybe try removing and re-installing `xorg-server`, followed by another logout and login.
