Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

I followed the steps given on ProblemHotlist#reinstall-clt. Software Update showed several versions of command line tools as outdated, as exptected. After installing/upgrading just the release matching the installed Xcode version, I deleted (and triple-checked!) the file /tmp/.com.apple.dt.CommandLineTools.installondemand.in-progress.

However, Software Update still listed four other versions as outdated and insisted on installing them all, contradicting the wiki. Is there some step missing?

Last I tried them, the instructions in the wiki were correct.

Do you still see those CLT versions available in software update after restarting your computer?
