Installed MacPorts - 'sudo port install NanoVNASaver' failed — at Version 2

After Installing MacPorts, entered Terminal, the following occurred after in-zipping NanoVNASaver: 

Mac-Studio:~ larryelbert$ sudo port install NanoVNASaver
sudo: port: command not found

Is /opt/local/bin in your PATH? If not, you need to add that to your appropriate shell config file. See: ​https://guide.macports.org/#installing.shell
