Is it okay to add a few new tags? Like, for example, statistics (topic is mostly, R-related, but not exclusive to it) — at Initial Version

Description
Now we got math
tag, however I do not think it makes a good sense to use it for everything remotely related. I would even add more specific tags like bayesian
and economics
, for example. Say, while both general equilibrium or demand models are still math
(and science
, FWIW), someone looking for actual math (ex., numerical computations or abstract algebra) may not want to see those, while someone looking for econometrics stuff would prefer not to dig through ports like R-cgal-Meshes
or standalone functions for fancy distributions. Using finance
is also problematic, there are tons of economics stuff which has nothing to do with finance. Etc.
Obviously, tags only make sense when there are some number of ports worth having those.
What everyone thinks? While right now I ask in connection with 3000+ R packages we got now, it is not restricted to R.
