     15UPD. Okay, something here does a genius thing: drops numbers and glues d from {{{d2}}} to darwin. This is the bug, since lettered extensions are documented in Apple headers.
     16I do not recall this happenning before, perhaps upstream “fixed” the code, breaking it.
     17Does not explain pkgconfig oddity too.
