    33There is an issue with android-platform-tools (see [https://trac.macports.org/ticket/66670 relevant ticket]); the last version that works on the aforementioned Mac running El Capitan, which has a Core 2 Duo processor, is 31.0.3_0. Using that version, I can control my phone using scrcpy with no issues.

    5 Hopefully the android-platform-tools can be fixed; if not, users on old OS X versions could be served with android-platform-tools @31.0.3_0. I assume that's something that would need to be done on their side, though.
