This is a reminder to me and Chris to update mkvtoolnix and mkvtoolnix-devel to the latest version 82.0 with the complication that support for qt 5 has been dropped as of this version.

Also, there's the mkvtoolnix-devel port Chris created two years ago to try out a different strategy of using macports-libcxx to allow the latest version to be used on more systems, so that Portfile is already significantly different from the mkvtoolnix Portfile. I assume the intention was eventually to change mkvtoolnix to be like that. What's the status of this experiment? If it has been successful, maybe what we do is rename mkvtoolnix to mkvtoolnix-qt5 or split it out into separate versioned ports ("qt5" in the name wouldn't necessarily be accurate since older versions don't require qt at all) and rename mkvtoolnix-devel to mkvtoolnix and proceed with updating that to qt6.
I note that currently mkvtoolnix-devel fails on all systems... was there an updated patchfile that didn't get committed?

Ugh, sorry for the previous (blank) message, currently stuck using a mobile browser.
So I believe that the Devel port was good for a while, but completely forgot about it.
We can certainly reconcile against the non-Devel port though, and see where things stand.

IMO we should move the current qt5 one to mkvtoolnix-qt5 and make a new portfile, because the current one is already a mess with 3 versions with different requirements and dependencies, so and adding another one with major dependency change will pretty sure make it unmaintainable.
