    3 The {{{quick_exit}}} issue started with one of the GCC12 updates, and persisted since (GCC13, GCC14).
     3The {{{quick_exit}}} issue started with one of the GCC12 updates, and persisted since (GCC13, GCC14). Thus, I'm leaning towards saying that it started with Clang-16 or -17. Definitely no later than -17.
