    33I can already verify that making sure {{{DEVELOPER_DIR}}} is not exported (requires modifications to {{{portutil.tcl}}} and {{{portconfigure.tcl}}}) resolves the issue with C++ builds not being able to include headers from the standard library.

     5However, I'll need to do some {{{git blame}}}ing to better understand why this is being done at all - appears to have been the behavior for several years, so perhaps it is now harmful with Sequoia.
