    1 So - the same fix I suggested worked for you too. That is two -- one more and we have a general fix.

    3 WHY it fixes the issue is not as yet clear, and we may never know.
     3My failing upgraded CLTs showed the exact same version of clang as the version that now works when installed freshly.

     5Some remnant left behind in the upgraded CLTs would appear to be causing the issue, fixed by the blowout and clean reinstall.
