    77The new linker is doing something different with the Intel assembly than ld_classic did, and that is what is making "make check" fail.

     9Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood you. Yes, it is exactly that gcc14 now doesn't use ld_classic that is now causing "make check" to fail when gmp is built with gcc14. Exactly that.
