omniORB 4.1.0 -beta2
the portfile is ATTACHED
omniORB is a robust high performance CORBA ORB for C++ and Python. It is freely available under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License (for the libraries), and GNU General Public License (for the tools). omniORB is largely CORBA 2.6 compliant.

I have created two ports, one for the core omniORB distribution and a second one for the python binding part. I will submit another bug for the python binding and have it reference this one. I also have created a third portfile for omniEvents, an implementation of the CORBA EventService.
the portfile does not yet support compilation with ssl support. I will add that as a variant.
