Description
I get the following error when trying to install libpng as a dependency for aterm.
---> Verifying checksum(s) for libpng Error: Target com.apple.checksum returned: Could not open file: /opt/local/var/db/dports/distfiles/libpng/libpng-1.2.8.tar.bz2 Error: The following dependencies failed to build: libpng Error: /opt/local/bin/port: Status 1 encountered during processing.

You have an old portfile. First clean the old files: port clean --all libpng
Then get the latest ports: port selfupdate
then install again. If you need help solving checksum errors see this:
