Description
Port 'gtkwave' pulls source via http://home.nc.rr.com/gtkwave/gtkwave-current.tar.gz .
The gtkwave port checksum is for version 3.0.14, but the above URL to gtkwave-current.tar.gz is for version 3.0.19. Consequently, checksum fails, install aborts.
Due to the naming scheme used by gtkwave for the current release, this probably happens every new release of gtkwave.

Ryan,
There's no way to download a specific version given that I don't have the webspace on my ISP to support all the versions. I will forward out a tarball of 3.0.14 in my next note.
He sent me a copy of the 3.0.14 tarball but that's not really what we need. I'm asking developer mailing list how this situation should be handled in general.

I asked the list what to do:
http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-dev/2007-January/000411.html
James Berry said we could host the software in the /distfiles directory of the repository with a versioned name. Pierre Queinnec said to check whether FreeBSD, Portage, PKGSRC or similar are already mirroring the software.
But thankfully, it looks like gtkwave 3.0.22 is now available from the author via a versioned URL.

Revisions 22298 and 22300 fix this.
I have sent an email to the author of the gtkwave software asking if there is a way to download a specific version of the program, so that this problem does not keep happening to us.
