This ticket updates libassuan to the latest stable version. In addition, it does the following:
- updates the library dependencies of the package (now depends on pth);
- removes a configure argument that the source no longer requires for info
files to be installed in the correct location (source now uses Autoconf
2.60b, which complies with ${prefix}/share/{doc,man});
- removes a port-supplied patch that was incorporated upstream a few versions
ago; and
- removes a post-destroot step (the deletion of
${destroot}${prefix}/share/info/dir) that is now taken care of by MacPorts
itself.
The attached patch to the dports tree is designed to be applied with the -p1 option (or -Np1) from the dports directory.
