Request removal of libidl1 port

I would like to remove the libidl1 port since:

1. No port relies on it
   • firefox-x11 dependency removed in changeset:22825
   • mozilla dependency removed in changeset:22826
2. It breaks port libidl (at least version 0.8.8) during the build phase, since it is an older version of libidl but linked against glib1 instead of glib2.
3. The maintainer does not have a MacPorts Trac account.

Removal would involve the following steps:

1. Rewrite libidl1 port to not install anything but to depend on libidl
2. Make sure that libidl1 is version bumped so people who upgrade get the port rolled out of thier system
3. After a set period of time (1-3 months?) remove libidl1 from the port tree

Randall, can you please coordinate the work needed to remove this port? Clearly you're more involved with it than Elias and I, the two Trac slaves sweeping tickets these days ;-) Setting this one to "Port updates", as that's the main step needed for its removal.
