Portfile for new port aspell-dict-de-alt
comment:2 Changed 18 years ago by macports@…
Ok, I have now actually thought about the issue myself;)
I have attached a path for the Portfile of the old port aspell-dict-de, which is now what it says, the dictionary for current German spelling rules.
In addition I added a Portfile for a new port aspell-dict-de-alt, which provides the aspell dictionary according to old German spelling rules. By content the latter is the replacement of the old port aspell-dict-de, but I agree with boeyms@… that just updating the old one is not sufficient.
I think having both ports really is the best solution, and I think sticking with the apsell names is also the most straightforward approach;)
Would be nice to see both ports included updated soon.

According to the aspell list of available dictionaries, de-alt is an old spelling alternative to the de dictionary, rather than a replacement for it. Should this therefore be a new port rather than a patch to the current one?
