Description
As there is a lot of gnu software in MacPorts, there should be some kind of automated livecheck support if "gnu" is found in master_sites. I've worked on it written a patch.

The diff can now be applied to the latest trunk, and it now guess the livecheck.name from the gnu project url.

Thanks for your work, but the patch fails to apply against current trunk. Please, if you haven't done so, check out a copy of current trunk and fix your patch to work with that and resubmit.
