Description
The delete command is documented as behaving as the Tcl file delete command.
The Tcl file delete command documentation states "Trying to delete a non-existent file is not considered an error."
However, the delete command does throw an error when a non-existent file is deleted. See ticket:13225

I would prefer to keep the current behaviour of
delete
procedure and fix the documentation.I'm adding our most current active base/ guys to the Cc field.
