Description
Charles Rich reports that xfig won't activate:
$ sudo port upgrade xfig ---> Fetching xfig ---> Verifying checksum(s) for xfig ---> Extracting xfig ---> Applying patches to xfig ---> Configuring xfig ---> Building xfig with target all ---> Staging xfig into destroot Error: Target org.macports.destroot returned: error deleting "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_graphics_xfig/work/destroot/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults": directory not empty $
He says the directory has two files: Fig and Fig-color
He was using the XFree86 port, and the problem went away when uninstalling XFree86 and using Apple's X11 instead. It would be nice if xfig would be usable with both XFree86 and Apple's X11.

I'm not sure why we should support XFree86 nowadays.

Perhaps the patch in ticket #14116 would solve this problem?
