gtk2 +quartz builds, bt gtk-demo fails with:
dyld: Symbol not found: cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart

I don't see why this should happen; jpeg is one of the dependencies of gtk2.
BTW just pointing out that gtk2's +quartz seems to be broken, you need +no_x11 too (although it's not (currently) one of the variants for gtk2, you need it for pango etc. packages that gtk2 depends on). I submitted a patch in #14305 , but it's waiting...
