Hello,
I'm trying to install xine-lib but i get the following error :
ld: absolute addressing (perhaps -mdynamic-no-pic) used in _avg_qpel8_mc20_mmx2 from .libs/xineplug_decode_ff.lax/libavcodec.a/dsputil_mmx.o not allowed in slidable image collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[4]: *** [xineplug_decode_ff.la] Error 1 make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 2
How can i solve this issue please ?

See http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14228 for a "fix" you'll need to compile the ffmpeg port with postproc support: port install ffmpeg +postproc (and whatever else you want) then the you'll need to patch xine. the patches listed in my bug report are almost certainly not the proper way to do it, but they work.
