This is in progress, but somewhat complicated by the conflict between "perl5.8" and "perl5.10" plus the fact that Perl is currently unmaintained in all of MacPorts...
See python for one solution on how to handle this (delete the "/opt/local/bin/perl" program and introduce a perl_select helper). Not a very good solution though, but still.
