Description
The geos port is at version 2.2.3 but according to the web site, geos 3.0.0 has been released.

I've attached a diff for the Portfile for 3.0.0. It's pretty much the same thing with the version and MD5 changed.
This fix in the files/ directory has been incorporated into the main GEOS package, so that can be deleted for Darwin 9.

if the port is bumped to 3.0.0 then a new port for geos2 will need to be created as one of the ports I maintain py{25}-matplotlib-basemap only works with geos-2.2.3 and not geos3

Going to either follow the BerkeleyDB model and build to ${prefix}/lib/geos2 and ${prefix}/include/geos2, or try to make use of libtools -shrext argument, whichever is easiest to maintain.
