Description
The sane-backends macport does not support my scanner, although it is listed on the SANE website of supported scanners. The distribution by Matthias Ellert at "http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/" does support it, however. Please update to a more recent source package.

Cc maintainer. The sane-backends port was using the latest stable version available when you opened this ticket. I'll leave it open as a request to update to 1.0.19, though.
The libusb port also uses the latest version available.

Seems to be libusb, not sane-backends. Installing sane-backends from macports with a newer libusb (from "ellert.se") makes my scanner work.
