Description
I've installed dev tools and I've run the MacPorts installer. AFter restarting, I go to the Terminal, and try the port command. It fails to work. You might as well have typed in gibberish. I am running Leopard 10.5 on an Intel iMac. I have it installed on my PPC PowerBook G4 and it works fine. Any help would be appreciated!

Duplicate of #13742.
Please see http://guide.macports.org/#installing.shell how to set up PATH and MANPATH manually.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
One more thing: There were no hitches in the installation at all and the MacPorts file is in the opt folder.
