Description
I posted a bug here a few days back, with regards to installing kde, so I'm suspicious that my computer simply doesn't like kde...especially as often builds for dependencies will corrupt and then magically work the next time I download them.
Anyhoo, kde still requires kdepim3, and fails when it tries to build it, I've tried cleaning out both kde and kdepim3 several times now and rebuilding both kde and kdepim3 seperately, but it still fails. Full log posted below:

Error: The following dependencies failed to build: kdepim3 kdeutils3 gmp Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
kdepim3 here being the dependency that crashed the build.
If it helps at all fink seemed pretty confused as to what libraries to use to build kdepim3, as I was going to try installing it under fink and hoping port install kde could use whatever fink built...show's how much I know.
I was going to venture installing the thing from source myself...but the entire reason behind using MacPorts is to avoid doing this very thing.
One interesting thing of note I find is that running port selfupdate, I have version 1.6 installed, however 1.7 is available in the trac report, this wouldn't be something I need version 1.7 of macports to use?!?

This problem might be fixed in r34268. Please try the following steps, and tell me the result.
1) clean the old workdir.
2) update your ports db.
3) (re-)install kdepim3.
