Description
While having uninstalled mplayer and thereafter installed it again some time after, I got errors about existing files (stated below; which were removed manually). It might pose a problem for some people:
/opt/local/bin/mplayer /opt/local/bin/mencoder /opt/local/etc/MPlayer/ /opt/local/share/doc/MPlayer/ /opt/local/share/man/man1/mencoder.1.gz /opt/local/share/man/man1/mplayer.1.gz

Known bug, already filed as #11759.
As a workaround, you have to specify the exact casing.
