Description
The ${prefix}/var/lock/sane directory is not created on installation. The user must have write access to this directory in order to use sane.

I made a fix in r39967 because I made a mistake the first time.

Sorry, what I meant to say was that the /var/lock directory should be created (probably on ports installation?), so that sane has permission to create /var/lock/sane.
